2017 in Review

Hope everyone had a fantastic Christmas.  Mine felt like a whirlwind.  We visit with both Tim’s family and my family, but everything went great.  There was a lot of laughs, gifts, and of course- cookies.

Now that Christmas is done, it’s time to look ahead to 2018.  Where did this year go?

While we make plans for the new year it’s only natural to look back at the highs and lows of the past year.  This year was incredible in so many ways.

We bought a house!

We traveled

We celebrated

We laughed

This year had its challenges as well.  My husband had hip surgery to repair a torn labrum. I was a ball of nerves, but his way to stay positive was so inspiring.

We said goodbye to one of the bests.

And finally, the reason that pushed me to start this blog that I had been pondering for years, there was lots of anxiety.  This year I will do my best to handle it with a level head and a positive mindset.

2018 here we come. Let’s make it a good one.

  1. Congratulations on overcoming your obstacles, finding strength to overcome loss, and purchasing a most valuable key! Being blessed is to have little to none, and then have that emptiness filled. 2017 was great year, indeed.

    Cheers to you.
