June Goal

Happy June 1st! And for me today is also that last day of school! I think every year the teachers are much more excited than the students. Everyone at this point is in dire need of a break.  But a new month also means it’s time for a new goal to focus on this month.  This one is about refocusing on my yoga practice. I’ve been doing yoga about once or twice a week, but I want to up my game now that I will have more free time.

January –whole 30

February – Gratitude Journal at night

March– Read The Gratitude Diaries by Janice Kaplan

April- 5 minutes of meditation each day

May– Compliment someone different every day

JuneBuy a month of yoga at a new studio

July– Tap into creativity (new fitness classes, art, Zumba, kareokee, games, nature, etc)

August– Treat yourself month (bath, nails, compliments, me date, take a nap, massage, Bravo, etc)

September– Smile first thing in the morning and last thing before bed

October– 30 things I love about myself (I turn the big 3-0 this month-gulp)

November-No negative talk November (myself, others, work, etc)

December– Give back (to students, family in need, volunteer, family, husband, etc)

 

The original plan was to buy a month of unlimited yoga, but I’m changing it slightly. I couldn’t decide which studio I wanted to try; therefore, I am instead doing 3 different studios for one week each.  This will allow me to try some new studios, and it is also a cheaper option.  I’m excited for this month! Time to get my zen on.
